All good comments. Like all teenagers their hormones are in over drive. For Jw teenage boys and girls they are under a lot of fear control and guilt for this. This experience of having a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship is very exciting and dangerous for those in this cult. Even more so if they are raised in a very strict jw household. Ignorance about sex, spiritual abuse, physical abuse and sexual abuse is the norm for these young ones. Their world is a world of the thinkings of the cult. Dating a person outside the cult is a very rebellious by this boy and it may be his first time he is experiencing a freedom from the cult.

I feel sorry for him for if he is truly in a Jw family and if he gets caught he will be in a lot of trouble. If he is baptized in the Jw faith he could be disfellowship or excommunicated from the cult and shunned by all he knows. He is playing with cult like fire. Be kind to him but at the same time try to get as much information you can on him and learn more about how destructive this cult is. Good luck to you on this subject. thanks to the australian royal commission our youngest son has woke up.

we received a e-mail from him tonight where he apologized to us for shunning us all these years, how bad he felt for doing this.

Flipper I kind of thought you have been busy with your up coming apotasfest or work. We have been on cloud nine for the last few days. We told him about the response I we have been getting from this site. He was amazed by this fact. We encouraged him to restart his account here. He actually sign up before we did. Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad

today, july 1, i wrote what has become my annual contact with my parents.

it is their 51st wedding anniversary.

i e-mail them from across the world where i now live to let them know that i haven't forgotten them, i still love them, and that i'm doing okay.

I feel so sorry for your situation. It's so sad, so sad. Hopefully your children will wake up and you will be reunited with them. Giving the GB a Windows Version Name

i don't know which version of gb we are on.

(also unknown, which "old light" doctrines they changed to conveniently fortify their own position, when i was at gilead in 2005, i called them 2.0 because the last of the old guard was dying off.. for those associated with "ancient" history, windows started to come in their own with 3.0 and 3.1 in the early 1990s.

that is, until windows 95 happened, and the ubiquitous start button was first introduced.

How about GB denier or GB give me the Damm money or GB on the run or GB disappointment or GB do what I say not what I do. I know it has to be shorter but how about GB last days or GB we wear tight pants because we have no balls. That one is way too long but maybe GB nuts then we can then say sometimes they feel like a nut and most times they are. GB pushers of fear and paranoia. Sorry Jeff my mind is on silly thinking. Received another call from our son yesterday. It lasted for another 2 1/2 hours of conversation. We can tell how much he has mature in the last serveral years. He wants use to send him by e-mail scanned copies of certain old wt. and awake bound volume articles on 1975 thinking by the Borg and the cover picture of old ones with the saying this generation will not pass until all these things happen or something like that. Through his research he has found out the wt. keeps revising their history so he would like some hard copies for proof. Because of the kind of work he does he is able to listen to podcasts cast. So we gave him thisjwlife.com to listen to. He watch A&E Cults series on jw's which we told him about. He said it really brought home the point on child abuse. The interesting thing was we told him about Barbara Anderson so he looked her up and found out he lives only 80 miles from her.

We joked, laughed and talk about how the cult has hurt our family. He said he will be able to call us at the end of next week. That's about it. Thank you all again and have a great day. Still Totally ADD

Good discussion on this subject. I feel talk radio shows which have sprung up everywhere, pod casts and left and right news aka Fox and MSMBC. Give us one sided information. Or shows that bring up a problem real or not then come up with a solution in a matter of seconds. The problem is it makes the masses lazy in thinking for themselves and depends on what they hear instead of doing research for themselves or the show stir up emtions to cloud people's thinking. Not once have I ever heard we need to understand why the other side thinks or acts this way instead they stand on their side of the line and sling mud at each other. No one seems to listen to one another anymore. This is one thing I try to instill with my new found friends who for the most part on both sides of the line.

What's funny most have the same fears and concerns. The us against them mentality runs deep in today's politics. I sometime feel the Borg had it right when teaching political nueutrality. But then again that does not bring any solutions either. Still Totally ADD
